Non-Invasive Cardiology

Gregory Sanders began his medical career in Montreal, Canada, at McGill Medical School. He moved to Boston, Massachusetts in 1995 to complete internship and residency at Boston University. He was named the Chief Medical Resident and worked with acclaimed cardiologist Dr. Joseph Loscalzo. In 1999 he attended Harvard University as a Fellow in Cardiovascular Disease. He completed his fellowship in Cardiovascular Medicine at the Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center before moving to Phoenix, Arizona in 2002.

Focused on non-invasive cardiology and cardiovascular disease, he has been practicing in the Scottsdale area for almost 2 decades. Aligned with HonorHealth, Dr. Sanders provides a full suite of cardiovascular services, and provides inpatient services at the Thompson Peak, Shea, and Osborn campuses.

Dr. Sanders has a special interest in Sports Cardiology.

Having served as the cardiologist for the Arizona Coyotes since 2002, Dr. Sanders has spent his career caring for athletes at all levels. He is also currently the cardiologist for the Seattle Mariners. In the past he has provided care for the Arizona Diamondbacks, Phoenix Suns, Arizona State University, San Jose Sharks, and San Francisco 49ers.
